Frequently asked questions
Who do I contact if I need to see a doctor when the surgery is closed?
In an emergency, or for illnesses which need immediate attention, we have two out-of-hours service numbers.
They are:
028 9074 4447 - BELDOC (Belfast Doctors On Call) for Eastern Health and Social Services Board (EHSSB) patients
087 0532 9024 - Dalriada, Newtownabbey for Northern Health and Social Services Board (NHSSB) patients.
The numbers operate from 6pm, Monday to Friday, and on weekends and bank holidays.
You can use them to get advice or, if necessary, to book a home visit.
Out-of-hours visits are at the discretion of the doctor on call.
